A pretty favorable draw. Illinois will be improved if healthy. Iowa, Indiana and Purdue will be a little down, Nebraska a little better. Rutgers going through transition but with a good point guard. Should have at least a 0.500 conference record this season.

Correction...We double up against Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Purdue, and Rutgers. We don't double up against Iowa. In other words, replace Iowa with Illinois in your list. Home and away series against Illinois, Nebraska, and Rutgers gives us a reasonable chance for 6 wins (easier said than done) without considering the rest of the schedule.

I wish we had doubles against Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa, teams that would help our RPI and give us more chances at big wins. Playing Rutgers twice is throwing more weight onto a boat already filled with deadweight teams out of conference. We need to win almost every big game we've got to be in the NCAA conversation.

That's true for most Big 10 teams....if NU wins 10 Big 10 games it will be difficult to exclude them from the NCAA conversation.
