They avoid MSU, but this is a pretty tough road.

Ouch. Gotta sweep PSU.

Name of the game is quality wins, though, so we'll have plenty of chances.

Not worried. The team will be good. They'll be ranked. They will beat good teams.

Bring it. Gotta beat the best to be the best. Just need to believe and then execute. The talent is there.

Illinois and NU should play home and home every year. BIG needs to have protected rivalries in hoops like they do in football.

I've actually thought about this before and I 100% agree.

Except in my head I had switched to Maryland-OSU, and Rutty-PSU.

So it's sort of just rotating the Eastern teams from the football rivalries, which are Mich OSU, MSU PSU, and Md Rutgers.

This is a good draw, full of RPI-100 teams that are around or slightly below our expected level. Minnesota is expected to be very good. Penn State could be a bubble team this year if things go well. Wisconsin loses almost everyone besides Happ, Maryland loses Melo Trimble, and Michigan loses DJ Wilson and Derrick Walton. Getting 6 or more wins out of these 10 games (a reasonable goal) will be huge for the March resume.

Anyone bold enough to start doing a game-by-game prediction for this season? I'm afraid I'm overly optimistic right now and couldn't put forward a realistic view. Harder in basketball than football due to the streakiness of basketball. Unpredictability of injuries also makes it really tough.

Fingers crossed for this being a season that brings the last couple seasons back up towards an expected injury level average (I.e. Injury free season to balance out the last few).
