When your only two losses are by one score it must have made it a lot easier to pick NU. Having been in comeback mode in both losses appears to have accounted for something as well.

Had we been blown out in our losses it likely would have been a different story.

Anyone who bets on Northwestern football is a masochist.Just when you think you have them figured out the opposite happens.Even in good years we come up with games that are head scratchers. If you bet on NU football good luck to you.

This game would be closer to a Pick if Gabbert was at QB for Mia-OH (and LT would help as well). Their offense is abysmal without Gabbert, didn't even crack 200 yds against Cincy.

How?? They played very respectable first halves against Kentucky and Cincinnati who are much better teams than us. Ultimately those teams pulled away but I don’t have much confidence that we will beat Miami OH, as sad as that sounds.

I feel like Miami Hydroxide is better than SIU and probably Puke and Neb as well. We've played a sad sack schedule so far and haven't distinguished ourselves.
