No one started a second-half thread?

NU trails 58-56.

Just thinking...Last night, Law had foul trouble, tonight BMac is 1-11. If the Cats get all their guns firing -- and add Falzon -- they'll be dangerous.

And in true Northwestern fashion, we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Terrible play down the stretch. We continue to have trouble with frickin inbounds plays against a press. We either throw it away or throw it into the corner. That's basic stuff.

Call a frickin timeout instead of throwing it up in the air.

Our offense was stagnant last 6 mins and we scored 1 basket. bMac will want t forget this game.

Brutal finish. Our most-struggling offensive player tonight tried to do it by himself over two players.

Yea didn't really get that, either. McIntosh is the team leader for sure, but he shot 3-18 tonight. Looked tired down the stretch, not that I blame him. Draw something up to get it to Tap, Law, or Lindsey.

Silver lining? Scottie has looked great so far this year. Love his confidence and consistency.

We get nowhere without McIntosh. But on a frigid cold shooting night you have to look to some warmer hands - especially if there's time left on the shot clock and you've got two players in your face.

Depressing, brutal way to lose. Nate Taphorn simply has to call a timeout but, in true Northwestern basketball fashion, gives the game away. Just a brutal pass. Mac really struggled today and I was actually hoping Brown would keep it on our last possession. I had more faith in the freshman tonight to make that play. Also sad that Law saw the ball so little down the stretch.

Have to wonder how much Collins had something to do with BMac going 1 on 5 down the stretch. It's the same crap that had me pullin my hair out with Demps for the past few years. In football, guys joke about fans saying "hey, coach, call one of those scoring plays", but one thing is certain in my mind: the 1 on 5 is a losing play for everybody in history not named MJ.
