Northwestern hit six threes while holding the Buckeyes to 35 percent shooting, taking a 33-26 lead into halftime.

The length and athleticism of OSU is keeping them in the game on a poor shooting night for them.

It's tough to watch McIntosh and Demps dribble around without any other player able to dribble-drive.

Olah, Lumpkin, and Demps are replaceable.

Good opportunity for a win pissed away. Looking forward to 2016-17. I hope that Law comes back OK, the new guys are good and the returning guys stay healthy.

NU simply doesn't know how to win. We never have and we probably never will.

The problem is that the young players in the rest of the league are better than our young players.

C, do think it's time to go the way of U of C? Sure sounds like it. Probably need a coaching change, right?
I've already said that if Collins can't get it done in the next 5 years than we should give it up.

Really, do they allow you to stay in the BIG and just play football? I think not. But I do wonder if we can ever get to the NCAAs playing against superior talent like we do most every game. It's really hard to win in this league. Makes you appreciate the 6-2 football season a little more, eh?

The thing is the Big Ten is in a down year which is probably why there was a good deal optimism even with the weak OOC. Like many power 5 teams, Collins up tempo style requires more athleticism and a good deal depth to function at a high level. He can't rely on scheme to get 6-8 BIG wins like the previous staff did.

It seems like the needed reinforcements are on the way. It'll be interesting to see what CC can do with them.
