That dude is a moron. Grab the ball and fire it back onto the court. Who does he think he is? Nobody does that. And he knew that he ****** up-- looking away and then clapping encouragement to the team! LOL.

Big deal. Him and every other nebraska fan after that play.
Look at this way . If a player throws the ball back to the official like that he is going to get a T .You honestly don’t think they are doing anything to fan who does it . The fan wasn’t booted he was just told to move up on the concourse. Nuts is right the fan deserved what he got.

I don’t know if I’d go there yet. There will be plenty of games we hold teams to 50s and 60s as well. We did give up 97 to Iowa last year. And 104 to Purdue, 82 to Rutgers. I think Oklahoma will be a good squad this year. We didn’t have a good defensive performance, I definitely agree.
Duly noted. They could get a lot better at team defense and just play smarter at that end. They are well coached on the defensive end as well. But the number of bad closeouts and being slow to anticipate help, it doesn't bode well long term. We shall see. It may be a year where we try to out score teams and just try to play good enough defense to win. Like last night.

So this was the first time I was able to lay eyes on Nebraska so far this year. Seems like a fairly complimentary team. One of the better games I have seen out of Berke, which is nice.

Can some one in the know talk about the new bigs on the team. I see the kid from CMU hasn't played, assuming a redshirt, and what about the kid form Iceland? Will he be able to provide some minutes or is a still a little bit of a project? Garcia looks the part, but what is his game?

Garcia hasn't played much, but I'm actually hoping to see more of him. We're going to need him in the B1G schedule, not sure if he's good enough but it'd be nice if he could provide minutes when needed. The guy from CMU (easier than typing his name!) is hurt, sounds like back stuff that may linger. Leo Curtis looked decent for a 7'2" freshman in the limited minutes he's played, he was out for the OU game with injury as well. Doubt he plays when it matters, but he's already burned this year for eligibility so might as well see what he can do.

I was hoping Bolis would be a factor this year but that was just a fantasy based on seeing his athleticism in warmups!

OU was heads and tails better than any team we played last spring in The Crown.

Mast is a HUGE difference maker for this team.

I’m a bit more optimistic now than I’ve been for a while.
I want to feel the same but I have a hard time believing we will keep shooting that well. I hope thats not the case. Love this team

This is a really big week for NU Hoops. 2-0 would really give this team a boost. Both New Mexico and Miss State won NCAA Tournament games last year. Not sure what to make of KSU yet.

It's a great opportunity to get a couple of decent wins against an otherwise weak OOC schedule.

Our D this year isn't as good as it was last year. Juwan, Ulis and Rollie were huge on the defensive side last year as well as Berke before he went down with that ankle injury within the last minute of the Ohio St game. Mast was the missing piece that put it all together last year. This year, the starting 5 and the backups can all shoot well and also make it rain 3s. I'm worried about the defensive side of things this year and B1G teams are known for their defenses.

Man, I share your concerns about the defense - but Ulis and Rollie were SO BAD on offense that I just decided that I'd rather watch good offense and deal with the defense issues! Rollie in particular was tough to watch, guy should start a masonry company he laid so many bricks. Plus, with the return of JLaw I feel like he's as good or better than Rollie was on D so that's an upgrade.

Lawrence is every bit as good on defense as Worster, but he needs to stay out of foul trouble because there's a huge dropoff in perimeter defense when he has to sit.

Idk about the Garcia kid. We will see I guess. Seems like he has a case of stone hands.

I haven’t seen much from Lawrence on D in his 2nd stint here, and feel he was way overrated the first time around. He gets exposed against good guard play

The defense this year has to pick it up if we want to make it in March, we can't just rely on trying to outshoot everybody and outscore everybody as that won't work in this conference
