He looks about 13, but if he can play, he can play. I still gotta ask if we're really just looking at him to mess with Dave Eanet and the broadcast team.

He certainly has the name to play for NU.

I have little experience interpreting/analyzing high school stats, but is 3.7 apg for someone who is expected to be a point guard in the NCAA a little low? I get that he's the best player on his team, so he's expected to score a lot, but I'm just wondering if that's a good figure or not.

I think he’s primarily a scorer for his high school team. But he’s more of a point guard for his AAU team and had more assists than anyone at an Under Armour live period. NU wants both for a lead guard.

Brooks Bahr will be a college freshman and Brooks Barnhizer will be a senior...

But a couple things popped into my head...

6'5" point guards tend to get eaten alive by quicker guards unless they are spectacular ball handlers.

We have two point guards arriving in the fall of 2023.

Buie's replacement will hopefully be one of those 2 guys!

He does look like a kid, but a lot of that would disappear with a tighter haircut. He'll still have all that baby fat on his face, though.
