EVANSTON, Ill. -- ESPN in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the matchups for the 21st annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Thursday and Northwestern will travel to battle Boston College.
The Wildcats and Eagles will meet at Conte Forum on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019. Tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
Northwestern and Boston College have met five times with the Wildcats holding a 3-2 series lead. The last meeting was a 85-67 win for NU in the second round of the 2011 National Invitation Tournament. This is the first time NU and BC have met in the Challenge.
The Wildcats moved to 9-11 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge following a 67-61 win over Georgia Tech in the 2018 conference clash.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise all 14 games of the event, matching top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioner's Cup. All games will also be available to stream via the ESPN app.
