The final prognostication day is here. The Illini are favored slightly at home. Will the Cats keep the Hat? They did even in 2019. I would like to think they will again, though not by much.

Home of the Hat 19
Home team 17

Charlie makes the go-ahead field goal from 43 yards and McCourt misses a chip shot...not really.

Illinois wins and covers, take the under.

It turns my stomach to say this, but Bert has the Illini playing better than the Cats.

I think it takes 20 points to win this game. NU cannot achieve this, therefore Cats lose the hat.

We will only win if Hillinski plays most of the game. If so, Cats 17 - Bulimia 10. If not , we lose.

I haven’t seen much that tells me the Cats will win this game. It’s been brutal. However, Nebraska losses to Iowa every year and Illinois losses to NU every year. So we’ll have an idea later today when the best 3-8 team in history takes on the worst 9-2 team In history. Hawks win and I like our chances, corn wins and don’t turn on the TV.

Maybe Berts 73 Super Seniors celebrate the end of the season too hard at Kam’s tonight.

I was thinking about how similar this Iowa team is to 2015 NU. This team got to 6-0 before back-to-back bad losses, NU only made it to 5-0. The Stanford win was actually better than anything they've done, but they got the benefit of Penn St beefing up their resume first, whereas Stanford was after the fact. The thought of freshman Thorson getting us to #2 nationally is pretty funny.

Cats 49-3. Bert’s Boys kick with less than 3 minutes left to preserve some dignity, I guess.
