Nebraska behind big early? What are the odds of that happening?

I really think it is his two personalities...He is the funny nerdy guy and then he starts freaking out...Refs seem to hate that. Coach K is a dick the entire game and it is fine.
Ha yeah that wasn't meant to be a dig at Miles, was just pointing out he keeps getting them. Seems like NW is allowed to play physical defense and we keep getting whistled for it. That and constantly missing shots...

Tim Miles is lost at this point....getting worked again...by NW. Wish I could say it's surprising. Luckily it's NW and they could just as easily turn into Nebrasketball in the second half. 22 points at half.......RollingLaugh

2-8 since the MSU win. Hard to say the team got better as the year went on...something you would like to be able to say with a young team.
That is bad...might be tough for the "seeing signs of improvement" crowd to counter that one.

He did hire the ACC coach of the year and a coach who is about to get a 2 or 3 seed in the big dance. Miles will likely be at NU for another two years....another year under .500 next year and things could get pretty dicey for him. He needs to retain all the talent brought in and find a legitimate big man ASAP.
I have zero hope and faith Tim Miles can turn it around. I really thought he could do it. My guess is he will get at least 1 more year but does anyone think it will matter?
People actually watched this game? I didn't waste my time. Like we didn't know the outcome before the game was played.
He should be given next year to make the NIT, or be gone. No fking extensions until after the season is complete.

I certainly didn't expect to finish 6-12 and 11th in the B1G in year 4, when we arguably have some of the best facilities in the nation.
Without a big man I dont really see next year or the next or the next being any different

I doubt that Miles is the guy to turn us around. His recruiting has been better than recent coaches, but it has not been enough. And now it may be too late. Four years and zero progress. HTO can pump all the sunshine he wants about Miles, but the guy looks totally lost. He will be here for two more years. And I predict it will be 2 more years of typical NU basketball.
All that said... It is a damn shame. I had high hopes for Miles. And he is a very likeable guy. I really hope he proves me wrong. Finding a coach who can come in and turn us around won't be easy. Much better for us if Miles pulls a rabbit out of his hat and succeeds in the next two years. I just highly doubt he will.

Disagree big time. Am I disappointed by this season? Very much so, but we tasted a little bit of success and now we think we deserve to be a basketball power. It is going to take some work. Our recruiting has been good, and we could be a big man from really competing. I'd say he has at least two years to see what these youngsters can do.
