Does anyone know what time the Saturday game would be?
No they won't decide this until after the Thursday first round games are played. But... you can make some guesses. There are 4 sites with 2 games each (Buff, Mke, Orlando, SLC for Sat). The timing groupings are as follows (all Eastern, times approximate):
12pm / 2:30pm
5pm / 7:30pm
6pm / 8:30pm
7pm / 9:30pm
We can pretty much guarantee they won't make the one Western venue the early games as the first would start at 10am local. That will be Orlando or Buffalo. So the 6 options are 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm. Because we are the most Western venue and will likely have Gonzaga and Arizona as the two headline teams for our 2nd round games, I think there's a better than average chance SLC has 7pm and 9:30pm Eastern (5pm and 7:30pm Mtn), but I don't doubt that CBS / the NCAA would override that if they felt another lineup makes the most sense for TV purposes. I don't really have any insight as to whether NU vs Gonzaga or VCU / St Mary's vs Zona is more likely to get which of those slots... perhaps you could argue we are prob earlier if SMU wins (two west coast teams later) but they also stuck Gonzaga as the first game of the 4 in SLC on Thursday so who knows.
