Here's The Beach Boys song "Barbara Ann" that "Bomb Iran" was based on. During the instrumental part in the middle you can hear Brian Wilson say "Hal with his famous ashtray." That was famed session drummer Hal Blaine, literally playing an ashtray on that song but he played on many Beach Boys songs and many others in the 60s and 70s. He played on 40 #1 hits. He just died a few months ago. Bruce Gary, drummer for The Knack, said he was disappointed when he found out that his 10 favorite drummers were Hal Blaine.
