I'm volunteering right now to organize his farewell party. If his is the direction that college basketball is headed, I'll be taking in more of the nonrevenue sports...

The scout is out! Get physical with us, we’re soft. The only man on the team turned his ankle. Rodney McCray and Derek Smith would have ran half these softies off after one open gym at Crawford. We are soft and the supposed superstar is the softest of them all! I think I’ll puke now!

It's easy to pile on the young man, but most of the time he deserves the criticism.

He's a better player when he plays team basketball. No doubt.

He’s a better player when we play mediocre opponents. And, he gets no slack from me after lashing out at the fans recently. If he didn’t want any expectations he shoulda gone to Morehead State.

I must have missed it, how did Nwora lash out at the fans?

Nwora lashed out at fans that were calling him out on social media. I don’t blame the young man. Anybody that would tweet sheet at a college bb player is a low life a-hole.

Oh hell if that’s what poster above was referring to then I sympathize with Nwora, i thought there was something recent.

It was an interview in the last few days when one of the dumba$$, I like to cause more drama media folks asked Nwora how he felt about fans calling him out.

He’s a public figure. Can’t be thin skinned, comes with the territory. “Go play intramurals”

Lots of underdeveloped, childlike humans out there.

I’m always amazed when 20 year olds under the microscope are more mature.

Williams isn’t soft neither is DJ and I doubt Williamson is either. But DJ was taken out of the game and Williamson is a typical freshman. However if DJ is the type player Mack plans on recruiting will be fine. Pitino’s former players definitely do not like physical play.

Who knows what happens when we get into the tournament. Not sure FSU style of play will favor them. They may find themselves in foul trouble. However if we lose either Williams or DJ will be in trouble.

Fans get tricked by smooth scorers. When a streak shooter goes through a heater it's all good, when the one trick pony can't get the shot going all the holes that have always existed look a lot bigger.

Sure, this type of player is frustrating. But he didn't receive offers from UK/KU/UNC/Duke or any of those other high end recruiting programs for a reason. I am honestly not sure Nwora would have survived Pitino. It's also possible he could have become a more rounded player under Rick. Who knows.

Hang in there, the end is near.

He has three options:

1) play pro overseas
2) grad transfer (if he’s in line to graduate)
3) get in the gym and learn how to handle the ball

If Griff hadn’t dedicated himself to improved ball skills between his junior and senior year he wouldn’t be a legend in this town. He’d have been considered a bust. Nwora needs to get out of his comfort zone and go to work. If he opts to go pro at season’s end he’ll never play in the NBA.

Lack of ball skills has killed Deng Adel’s chances in the league, it will do the same to Nwora.

NBA is a walled up fraternity of about 450 guys. My guess his option will start at D) Late 1st round- 2nd round on the G League but my predictions are never right. His performance in NBA summer league will be highly important for him.

This isn’t a national championship contending team. The good news is no one else is, either. We’ll need a favorable draw. It’s not often a team of UofL’s caliber gets run like that by a taller, more athletic, physical team, but here we are. That being said, I can see FSU losing in the early rounds of the NCAAT.

Nwora is not a great athlete or an overly skilled ball player. He's a better than average shooter when he's not pressured and has deluded himself because he has made some shots that were not good high percentage shots. All this comes to the forefront when we are playing very athletic physically tough teams.

Hell, he did not even "lash out" at fans. He simply said there were lots of other teams some people could go cheer for. That is a hell of a lot nicer than how many here and on Twitter have acted toward him.

If that "lashing out" got any of the fans here or on twitter upset then they are a bunch of pussies. As a parent I find it pathetic many of the comments I see here directed toward our student athletes. I am fairly certain those who criticize our student athletes harshly over their performance on the court are not as perfect in their own life as they expect of these young men.

I'll take the bet that he lands a gig and plays several years in the NBA. Kid can shoot and that is 90% what the NBA is all about. Not saying he will be an all-star, but when I see guys like Mike Miller, James Jones, Kyle Corver, McDermott make a career out of shooting, he has a solid chance! Plus he can rebound....

You mean to tell me we can’t criticize a player who wants to play in the NBA in a few months? If he can’t handle it now, how is he going to cope with nba players, fans, coach’s, management etc....I know some fans go overboard but if he can’t ignore it then it’s not going to get any better

It's not hate to point out that he disappears in games sometimes. He's a future NBA player. That shouldn't be happening.

Those guys did not average 18 points and 7 rebounds a game when they were juniors. The Nwora hate is just mind boggling. He came here as a low 4 star/high 3 star player and has performed way beyond expectations.

In the NBA, all Jordan will have to do is come off the bench and shoot 3’s for 15 minutes a night. Doesn’t have to ball handle or be a lock down defender. He won’t have to carry a team. All he has to do is just score in the NBA.

The NBA can basically just make him a specialist, they have the best players in the world and his shooting is an elite skill. That’s all they’ll need him to do.

Guess Ryan McMahon is a future NBA star then because he can shoot circles around Nwora..

Currently projected 51st pick. He’s an overseas player for life.

Ryan is a 6’0 guard that can’t handle the ball or guard anyone.

Nwora is 6’7 and can shoot 3’s at a 40%-50% clip. Once he gets to the next level, all he has to do is just add more muscle and work on his game, no class or anything else. And Jordan’s work work ethic has never been in question, just his mentality.

He’s struggling now because he’s the star on the team that has to carry us, but he just doesn’t have that mentality to lead a team. In the NBA, he can be a perfect role player.
