I dislike the Yankees, but not sure how you can hate this team. They are finally doing it the right way by grooming talent instead of just throwing money at any star player.
Also, those 9 games aren't the norm. This team is pretty legit, just need pitching. Baseball isn't going to be fun for you in the coming years, the way this is going.

The Yankees field a team...therefore I hate them. Not even drafting fortyelevendozen Batcats would change that stance. The damage was done long ago and the hatred runs deep. Besides, it's fun to rib kooky kats when they lose.
And MLB hasn't been fun for me in a long, long time. Started with the mid 90's strike that canceled the entire post season. Peaked around the time they let the All-Star game end in a tie...2002 if im not mistaken. A freaking tie. smh. Let the freaking shortstops pitch. Wheel out the BP pitchers. Play sudden death. Have an arm wrestling contest on the pitchers mound. Something. Just don't end the damn game in a freaking tie. smh
I don't like the Yankees, but that's more so because of their fan base. I lived in the Bronx for 4. NY my whole life. It's an entitled fair-weather fan base for the most part. Every 1/3rd guy is rocking the dark navy hat and 100% of them are d-bags.. but they're only to be outdone by the pink-hat wearing chick fans who only know the roster by their butts and not their stats.

Pretty much the same for me as far as the strike goes but I gave up on it before that all star game. The end for me was the steroid era. When Brady Anderson hit 50 HRs I just assumed the entire game was BS and I never went back to it since.
BTW, my biggest sports claim to fame was getting a hit off a future major league pitcher in HS. Dave Flemiing was the guys name. It's not the same one that calls games for ESPN now.
Yep. Their insufferable fan base is a big reason for my hatered. Amongst many, many other things.
