So what does everyone do tonight to ring in the New Year? It will be pretty low key for me. Probably some games with the kids, maybe a late walk with the dog, then a glass or two of wine with wifey and in bed early....probably before midnight. I'm getting very adventurous as I get older.

Well, it's obvious you guys just don't know how to party like I do on New Years Eve. I've already started celebrating by watching the Mt. Olive New Year's Eve Pickle Drop at 7:00 pm (that's 12:00 midnight Greenwich time). You're fickle if you don't watch the pickle!
They haven't got the replay up yet (takes a few days or so), but you can watch the pickle drops from other years.
Ya come back now.

I enjoyed watching State get the kickin Dantonio had coming!

Pretty low key here. A 3 yr old and 6 month old.... No sitter. Played fireman and drank beer at home. Laying in bed getting snaps from friends at all the parties I once attended! Wouldn't trade the times with my kiddos for nothin tho!!

Netflix has some kids' New Year countdown selections. We used one for a fake countdown around 9:30 for the 6 year-old, then put him to bed and watched Gremlins w/ the 11 and 14 year-olds. They thought it was pretty silly, which it is. We actually missed the real New Year and realized it around 12:01 when we heard fireworks.

I have been in Holden Beach for two days. 40 of us here for an oyster roast (of course they are steamed instead of roasted) the wife ate my share as don't like the slimy looking little buggers. Good BBQ, many adult beverages, collards and black eye peas and much more. A great New Years Day with fine folks.

Stayed in with wife and kids. Is it bad that I felt hungover the next morning, even though I didn't drink? Lol.
