Neal is the head coach and 2 others are OC coaches. Gerard Parker (Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers) and Chad Scott (Co-Offensive Coordinator/Running Backs) These 2 and the O-line coach need to be evaluated at seasons end.It would be cool if he did, but at the same time, I wont complain to see how he does with a better QB and OL. I've watched every game this year twice, and Doege is a below average QB at very best, who makes way too many mistakes. He has no deep ball, terrible pocket presence and awareness, he's not good at going through reads, he has bad mobility and has overlooked so many wide open WR's its just unreal. EVen his completions he just doesnt have good ball placement. I think its why the WR's have had the drops. It wasnt an issue until he took over. Unacceptable for a 5th year senior, imo. Neal's offense might be super good with the right QB. Who knows. But I would not complain to get a good OC in here and Neal can just focus on being the HC.
Yep that has been pretty well established by now.Brown calls the plays.
Agree. I believe we will see the offense level up next season. Hopefully we see enough improvement this season to make a difference. It would be cool if he did, but at the same time, I wont complain to see how he does with a better QB and OL.
