EDIT!!
Well, that was easy, they erased my witty retort and told me, "You have insufficient privileges to post here".

Ah, anyone got a cigarette?

So like....where is the meltdown?? I ventured over there to check and it's typical fan reaction to a loss. Typical venting like we have seen here as well. But it's not in "complete meltdown".

How astute...
Meltdown is in the eye of the beholder...contrary.

Curious turn of events...they have this deal as some of you know that if you participate in any Rivals thread, they'll send you an email if someone posts something in said thread.

I got two from Texas, and of course I'm banned so I can't play, but the actual moderator, LonghornMM is so pissed, he said he's not watching this team again until something changes. Bwahaha!
Thought I'd share under the auspices of the freedom of information act.:D

They thought the same thing they think every single stinking year.

They thought they had a snowballs chance in hell. It's so pent up tight *** over there these days however, nobody is allowed to speak ill of their delusional mindset.

So of course they are floored. But that's what they deserve. Every single bit. And it's hilarious.

Can't help but to reflect that Malik Jefferson effed it up in not coming to OU.

Chances are fair at least that he will never taste victory against OU in the projected 3 years he'll be with the horns...

He didn't chose wisely.

I am banned from their horrible board. They were way outclassed. ND has final four talent and team if QB continues to develop and stays healthy.

There are a couple of guys in my bible study that are pretty big Longhorn fans. One of them took two days off work and drove to South Bend without tickets, just to be around the atmosphere and see if he could score a couple of tickets outside the stadium.

I'd think that the people who went there, haven't posted on OB yet, but are much less appreciative of the Horn effort, than those who were watching on tv last night.

Having been to the 35-7 loss in the CCG 12 years ago, I know how they feel.

Best line of the day:

"On Saturday night the Texas quarterback competition was basically "which one can run away from the unblocked Notre Dame defenders the fastest?"

There may be meltdown this morning, but I wouldn't know since I haven't been over there. But last night it wasn't even close to my definition of a complete meltdown. But hey if it makes you feel better to think they were in complete meltdown mode last night then by all means keep telling yourself that.

Another good line I heard about that game...

'Told my friend from texass that when UT plays Notre Dame it's like North Korea playing Iran. How can you root for North Korea or Iran?'

I love the smell of meltdown in Austin in the morning.

It smells like ... defeat!

There were some horn fans thought Heard was the answer to their QB woes,
however after what I saw of him Saturday night, he might not be the answer
texas is looking for.

it almost makes you feel sorry for the Horn fans. I sure didn't enjoy much of the 1990s and their current situation reminds me of that.
Notice that I stated: almost! They are still "We're Texas", after all!

Don't ever feel sorry for the Horns.... Trust me the Texas fans will throw a big party if OU loses to Tennessee

On The Franchise in OKC during drive time today, they were interviewing Rustin Dodd "of the Austin American Statesman". Now I looked up Rustin Dodd and I'm not sure he is with the Austin paper. Everything I read says the Kansas City Star. Anyway, he says there are a lot of angry Longhorn fans and alumni right now, especially those who traveled to South Bend.

When asked if the Horns go winless, will they fire Strong? He replied, "The Horns won't go winless. They play Kansas". Yes, I'd say it's a meltdown.

I think if there isn't dramatic improvement in the offense this season and then if Strong doesn't make changes in his offensive coaches, then it's very possibly Strong may be shown the door at the end of the season.
