Glad he used this three years here with the best medical staff in the game. Should do well at a Fairfield, Northeastern, Texas El Paso, UC Santa Barbara. So we were told he didn't play because of injuries and wouldn't ever play again but he's going somewhere else to PLAY.. and people yesterday said we would lose two more bigs and this is one so does that still stand? If so harry or bolden is back

Yea I feel for all these kids that come to Duke with high expectations and get their bubble busted. I understand that Coach makes you earn time on the floor at practices, But some, (especially Bigs) take longer to adjust to the game. The only way they can adjust is let them play thru their mistakes and allow that to happen. Luke Maye would not be a hero today if Roy gave up on him. You have to play to gain confidence at the college level. Some kids can gain confidence at practice, but some only get better and more confident during real time action, but that is Coach Ks style and kids should know that before coming to Durham. Its nothing new at Duke.I hope he does great next year. In never thought he would contribute here but I feel bad for him
All that could still very well be. If he was healthy and could contribute he would have surely seen pt this year. We will see in the next couple of years as to what his abilities are. I hate the word hate but for lack of a better word I hate speculation and we do a lot of that here and I'm not referring to you pisgah I'm just using your post to reply. OFC
So Bolden and Giles gone, awesome. Do you have any good news in regards to grad transfers coming in or getting recruits?Don't overthink this one guys. Seriously.

I figured the "don't overthink this one guys" was in regards to the speculation of two bigs leaving the program. Which is basically stating Obi wasn't apart of the two bigs...Who said they both are
Well now I'm overthinking the crap out of it.Don't overthink this one guys. Seriously.
For Obi? Haha why?Well now I'm overthinking the crap out of it.

Nah it was just in regards to Obi. Wish him well. He got a Duke degree and the best doctors in the world helping him get healthy. I'd say he did well!Yea idk lol I'm confused
I am with you, this is getting to be a little crazy. We have more turnover on our rosters every year than Kentucky. If this were happening at Kentucky this whole board would be going crazy. I know everyone on this board would say who cares Obi will not help us, but to me that is not the point. The point is the transferring and kids leaving is getting out of control.WTF? Sean Obi is transferring? Oh what in the good hell is going on here? I thought the kid was hurt and would never play?
Seriously, wtf is going on? I feel like our program is in bizarre turmoil.
I wish we would've offered a ball handling guard last year instead of having a fifth string center. Then again, I don't know what promises were made to Sean when he signed. A Duke scholarship is a valuable thing. I don't think we filled out our roster very well.Sean didn't dress out for a single game all season. Judging by the press release, this was kind of his plan all along. Best of luck to him....here's to hoping he's able to play (and stay healthy) at his next stop.

Troll!Don't overthink this one guys. Seriously.
I completely understand what the kid is doing but if he was healthy this season why did he not dress? It is hard for me to wrap my head around the amount of transfers that we have. Everyone talks about the brotherhood and how close our basketball players are but the amount of kids that leave starts to make me think otherwise.I guess I understand people being frustrated with Chase leaving....he came in as a 5-star and looked pretty lackluster, along with not getting as much time as some people thought he should. But Sean transferring is just him trying to give it one more go at a lesser school with his last year of eligibility. Again....he didn't dress for a single game all season.

From the article, sounds like Obi is healthy..
“I have loved my time at Duke,” Obi said. “I’ve struggled with a few injuries but I’ve grown as both a man and a player in this program. The relationships I’ve made here will last a lifetime and I will be extremely proud to call myself a Duke graduate. I’m feeling great physically now and I’m excited to take the next step in my career.”
