If I'm not mistaken, it has to be a week after the OC is released before the job can be posted. I think Stoops officially released Dawson on Monday.

I don't get how JR is saying that it will be announced next week. I know that once it is posted that it has to be posted for 7 days before we can officially hire someone. And now you're saying that it can't even be posted until a week after SD was released therefore it will be 2 weeks minimum before a hire can be announced, officially at least. I guess all the speculation will continue for 2 weeks so it will be very close to New Years before we are certain

It can be posted immediately. It just has to be posted 7 days before they can hire anyone.

If it's a 7 day window, and Gran is the new OC it would need to be posted by Monday if the wanted to make the announcement after Christmas since UC is playing on Christmas Eve.

Ah, okay, I had it backwards then. I thought you had to wait a week before posting, but could hire immediately.

Wouldn't need to be posted by Monday, but I suppose we could expect that.
