How many on here agree with the Chiefs for releasing Kareem Hunt once the video of him out of control hitting and kicking a female became public?

Personally, I believe in our constitution and honor that everyone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. That video shows he was guilty of losing his temper and assaulting that young woman. The Chiefs did the responsible thing and released him once the video became available to the public.

What I am a little confused by is this happened in February (if what I read is true), so why didn't the Chiefs act then? I know they claim they hadn't seen the video. Not sure I believe that. Feels like a cover-up exposed to me.

More questions. Why on earth does this keep happening in the NFL? There is a long ugly history of this behavior in the NFL. Is the game just so violent that the players are unable to turn on and off that button or is this a bigger deeper social issue that needs to be addressed thru discussion?

Sadly, him assaulting a woman is not what got him cut. Him lying about it is. KC knew of an incident, believed Hunt, then saw the tape that contradicted his story.

Should have not been cut maybe a few games for making the team look bad. What he did was not that big of a deal. Society has gotten week.

Wow, cry much? You need a safe space. I said nothing wrong just because you dont like it doesnt mean i should be banned. Typical liberal
You think felonious behavior isn't a big deal? I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that most people totally disagree with your position.

Not a liberal either, just not a complete idiot like you.

How is he a felon. Never was charged. I am not saying what he did was right but what I am saying is he never should have been cut. Little shove and kick in the butt. I for one not that I am smarter than for one reason and one reason only. I will not say that reason because it will hurt feelings.

The Chiefs were right to release him. Even Hunt admits that. He will never play football again. Just because he couldn’t control himself.

OldMan, you got a daughter? Why don't you hook me up with her, it's easier dating someone with low standards. And a dad that would totally understand if a tiny mistake happened, like if I accidetly kicked her. PM her info man.

The Chiefs made the right decision. Many KC fans out here do not agree with the decision. I believe there was a “survey”completed by Chiefs fans and 55% did not agree with their decision to release Hunt.

As Cue mentioned, the Chiefs were aware of the incident but decided to cut him after the video was uncovered.

Chiefs did the right thing.
