I've read about how important that the Q-B and wide outs will be this year, but I think it starts with the two new offensive tackles. I've read where one is standing out in spring practice and the battle for left tackle is between two.

Josiah ST John on the right and a battle between

Kenyon Frison and Orlando Brown on the left.

I hope these guy's show up.

I would love to hear more about the Ö-line. Kenyon is my Nephew and I know he is battling it out for a starting spot. I have seen nothing on the board about the most important part of football. Can we get some O-line love???

Other than Defense that wins Championships, we are all in for O-line beasts and hope to hear "Kenyon" a lot this year.

Thanks and WELCOME here anytime Hooks!

Hooks49, did you get a chance to see Kenyon in the spring game today? I was checking the line out today, but it was extremely hard because of the poor quality TV from the Fox SW telecast. Give us your thoughts.........

Considering that some players on both sides of the line were held out and the D was not stunting or blitzing, I thought the O-line far outplayed the D-line yesterday. Brooks and Ross had some very good carries for some good yardage and outside of a small handful of occasions, the D-line had trouble stopping the run and getting to the QB.

Replacing the talent we lost on O-line will be a big challenge this year, but I'm excited about the guys we have on the O-line and think Coach Bedenbaugh will have some good, strong talented guys to work with this year.

Yeah, I was able to watch the reply last night at 10:00pm. Although the D was fairly generic the Oline looked good. Kenyon looked great out there and plays very aggressive. To see where he has come from in just 3 years of playing football is very impressive. I can't wait to see how his future plays out.

Hooks, any chance you can give us some inside info on how a 4 star OL from Utah ended up at OU? Who recruited him?
What sold him on the program?

Who else did he consider?

Just generic stuff, no reason to go in depth.......

JERRY MONTGOMERY 100%. Ute coaches dropped the ball, took it for granted that he was a Utah Lock due to family ties. Recruiting is recruiting weather sports, jobs, Etc.... You are going to go with who you feel comfortable with and have a connection with. OU recruited him the hardest from the beginning to the end and did it the right way!!!!

Still here, Kenyon is fine! Made a stupid mistake and now has to pay for it. Unfortunately,18-19 year old kids don't always use the best judgment. He will be back and a better person because of it.

Thanks for coming on here and posting this. Make sure Kenyon keeps his head up and shakes this off and moves forward. OU fans are anxiously awaiting seeing him on the field. The kid has a great future ahead after he puts this thing behind him.
