Seems like the finishing drives Is still a hiccup for this team. Given in some areas they’re young.
Got jobbed pretty good. Played well and dominated the 2nd half but couldnt get into the end zone. 2 4th quarter drives end on 4th down passes to the end zone when we needed 1 or 2 yards. Kids played well. Coach Brown took the loss on himself.
That is the first time this year they haven been bad in the red zone this year.
WVU entered the game 25-for-26 in the red zone, and the first-team offense was 25-for-25. WVU was 3-for-3 with two field goals in the first three quarters before a pair of turnovers on downs in the fourth quarter.
All I have to say is... you're a defensive team, 4th and 1 inside the 10 down 4 points with a quarter to go, kick the field goal.
Un-freaking-believable! Cuzzin sees score, immediately believes eers got hosed by the refs.
WVU was the more talented team.....should have won the game. We are young and what frustrates me is the fact that we are always very close but then either make a mistake or someone doesn’t make a play........
I'm not about all that.

That’s still the growing pain of a young team figuring itself. It’s beating a dead horse saying the same thing since Neal got here. But we get what get. Texas whipped our butts upfront. They controlled the LOS and did not let Leddie be Leddie.
Versatility is coming. Hopeful to sign both Anderson and Johnson in December, if that is the early signing period isn’t moved back. Watching Anderson’s film reminds me of Steve Slaton. You throw it out of the backfield w/ a wheel route, he has the moves to out run d-lineman, and has that second and third gear when in open space.
Meh. Refs blew a big call, but same drops and inability to make a big play we’ve had all year. We’re a solid D and inconsistent offense. It’s who we are.
