Saying both sides are to blame is like looking at a glass half filled and saying it is either half full or half empty; meaning everyone has a view of what they see.
Back in the 90's my wife and I went to a UK-UL game in the old Freedom Hall. Robbie Valentine gave us tickets that were right on the court.
We were dressed in UK gear, not gaudy but looked nice. We sat down and was surrounded by nothing but red.

I went to get us some food/drinks and when I came back, I could tell my wife was acting different. It didn't take me long to figure out it had something to do with the people that came in while I was gone to the concession stand. One of the people behind us had a basketball on his head and was acting a fool.
My wife was almost in tears and she tried to whisper to me that this guy was yelling at her. As the teams came out on the floor, this punk kept yelling in my ear, F**K Kentucky and when he clapped, he would hit the back of my ball cap until it finally came off my head. At this moment I turned around and grabbed the basketball off his head and had him in a choke hold. Police came running and surprising to us, the people around us stood up for my wife and me saying this man was harassing us and slapping us. He was escorted out and we watched the game.

Was I wrong to grab him? Maybe but sometimes you have to stop stupid yourself. Maybe the UL fan was upset the UK fan was there and wouldn't stop his harassment to where the UK guy felt he had to stop it.

More times then not, the guy who looked like he got his a** whipped is the one who started it.
Just my two cents.

I don’t think the fight with the fan would have anything to do with it. That statement to me sounds like we had an internal conflict with players. I mean it adds up. Am I the only one who could not see something didn’t look right? That’s why I was pissed. Half of the team looked completely selfish. Overly selfish like they could care less. Turn the ball over oh well. Go weak to the rim get stripped oh well. Throw the ball directly to the other team oh well.



This fight probably happened after the game and I’m sure a drunk Louisville fan came talking **** to a sober grown man and got his teeth knocked out.


I know I’m alone on this but me personally I would love to of witnessed it. This is rivalries. Merica lol

The trolls are attacking pope on this board constantly. These same “fans” love Stoops at this point because of how we played earlier in the football season. So easy to figure these guys out. Why anyone would take the time to fake being a fan of a program is mind boggling. Life’s too short for that stupid bs.

Saw some video day of the game of the guys going back to the locker room walking by the UL students and thought I saw Jasper respond to them. Nothing extreme at all, just was clear he was not ignoring it.

Should discontinue the Louisville series. They’re a crap program. Terrible fans. Just dirty to associate in any way with them.

What's mind boggling to me is that ANY UK fan would call another UK fan "fake". Some fans have high expectations and low patience.

If Pope wasn’t going to go into detail, he should have kept his mouth shut. I like Coach but he messed up. If a rival schools coach would have said crap like that after we beat them everyone on this board would be laughing at them.

There are fans from other fanbases that troll this board. A unc fan has trolled this board for years. Lol surprised you don’t know that. Why would I call an actual uk fan “fake”? Lmbo I knew one of you guys would get offended and have to respond hahahahaha

If you don't think trolls come here just to screw with us you're naïve as hell. There are also people here that are fans that just like certain people say our old coach. And do not support the current coach or team just to meet their agenda.

Yeah there was something up. Just before game time the line was 6.5 up from either 2.5-3 that I got earlier in the day. UK wnt from a +140 ML to a +240

There are absolutely some Cal hangovers that still think winning a basketball game is only possible if you have McDonald’s at every position. They wait for a loss, ignore what happened during the game itself and say it’s because of recruiting.
