Look for WanRob to have between 12-18 touches per game for the rest of the year, more if Mo or Mills is a no-go. He's averaging 7 yards for every touch of the ball and that is after a somewhat slow start to the season. Consult whatever high power you are into for Mo to get over his injuries, because getting play packages that take advantage of both Mo and Wan'Dale's ability to make defenders look stupid will be critical to making the offense really hum.I love Wandale's confidence.
Wandale can have all the plays he can handle. Get the ball to him as often as possible.
This. Ohio State will score points this weekend. Their offense is just that good. The goal of our defense has got to be to make them work hard for every score they get and to eliminate big plays. That said... it is absolutely imperative, if we are to have any chance of winning this game, that our offense come out and light the place on fire. We need ALL of our big playmakers on the field and making big plays. But if our offense sputters and gives up turnovers we are in a world of hurt. I hope Mo is ready to go because I want to see the Mo and Wandale show.Look for WanRob to have between 12-18 touches per game for the rest of the year, more if Mo or Mills is a no-go. I know it isn't Frost style, but do you think it would be more beneficial for our offense to really slow things down? I say this because if we struggle on offense the first quarter or so, we could be in a large hole very quickly. Putting even more pressure on the D. We slow it down, keep in close and try to stay in the game. We could have a shot in the 4th to win it.This. Ohio State will score points this weekend. Their offense is just that good. I am in favor of whatever works. If up tempo keeps OSU from subbing in situational personnel packages then that might be better than slowing things down.I know it isn't Frost style, but do you think it would be more beneficial for our offense to really slow things down? Probably haven’t seen an offensive line as good as their?
I get where you’re coming from completely, but I’d have to say no, and play the kind of ball we normally play... I say that because when you drift from that high tempo, Ohio state will have already won the game, they will have dictated how we run our offense despite not having even played a down, it shows that we are not playing to win, but playing to lose by as little as possible, and that’s not a good message to send to your team... plus you have all these ‘cruts in for the game that wanna see our offense and how it works, not how we tuck tail...I know it isn't Frost style, but do you think it would be more beneficial for our offense to really slow things down? This is exactly what you do. And you find looks that fields hasnt seen a lot of.First let me say I don’t know **** ... but I agree with the above with regards to the defense. If we try to run with them in man I’m afraid we are going to give up big plays. We also aren’t in position to make tackles in the second level if we are chasing their WRs all over the field. I know no one likes playing this way but I would consider a heavy dose of zone with the goal of keeping things in front of us. Make them be patient and go on 10+ play drives if they are going to score - hoping they make mistakes along the way. I don’t think we have the horses to play man
Thus far this season we have not played with unity of purpose nor have we played without fear of failure. That includes Frost. Needs to change this week.I feel like Frost’s problem early this year was straying from his own philosophy.
Frost preaches fast. We’ve looked better playing fast this year in my opinion (we really haven’t played fast often).
Part of it is keeping opposing defense on its toes, not allowing it time to get in its ideal call.
We’ve played too tight this year and need to cut it loose. I’d take an INT in exchange for a game full of attacking full throttle.
Desire to excel. No fear of failure.
All gas no brakes.
Unity of purpose.
We wanna win- we gotta play like winners.

Now with that said once we get out there and it becomes obvious that our offense isnt going to work, then you bring it in and slow it down and try to minimize damage... this is going to be a difficult game already, I don’t want them beating us mentally before we even step on the field
Sounds like Callahan's game plan @ USC. Playing not to get blown out.I know it isn't Frost style, but do you think it would be more beneficial for our offense to really slow things down?
