I haven’t seen him wrestle much. I thought maybe he was a small 133 considering how much he was struggling. He seems to have gotten a lot better now that he’s at 125 again.

The Penn stats guys on here have talked about “hell week”. Basically the Penn state coach trains them super hard during January and they look bad during it. So hopefully it’s just DT doing that.

I have not enjoyed this dual. This is 2 matches in a row that Spratley wasn't sharp not offensive on his feet and gives up a takedown.. Today he goes high when he is riding and doesn't know when to go to his stomach gets pinned. I saw these type of matches last year where Spratley loses a match that he shouldn't( Twice he lost to Jordan of SDSU and the 2nd one cost him being an All American). Hughes really wrestled poorly but won in overtime with a takedown. Jamison won by major but the match seemed much closer but Tagen scored with frequency. Sheets wrestled hard and got a great duck but lost. Fish wrestled strong and won like he should have and ended scoring with a 7 point move.

Hamiti wrestled for us and got the tech with a lot of takedowns. He really scored by attacking his opponents left leg and scoring quick takedowns.
