Watching replay, but Jax Forest almost beat by Seidel of Va tech 10-9, another true frosh. Seidel took Forest down three times. Did we recruit him? Man 133 is gonna be nightmare at NCAAs. I hope Drake Ayala can make the stand.

They had some battles in HS if I recall. Siedel is a stud and obviously gave Jax trouble on his feet. Jax is just so good on the mat and can put anyone on their back in an instant! And he did that today, hitting a TD and immediately working into a turn.

It'll be interesting to see if Jax goes against Drake next week. They are about as opposite styles as you will find.

They met in the state finals last year. Probably the biggest HS match of the year and it was a good one. 4-2 Forrest.

Seidel is not to be overlooked this year. He outwrestled Forrest for the majority of that match and has destroyed everyone else. He can definitely win.

He majored Knox in his debut and has looked really good since then pulled the redshirt, as has Jax since he enrolled in January and hit the mat. Davino, Blaze, Larkin, Seidel and Jax are all freshmen. Can any of them take out Byrd? Can Drake find a way to repeat his performance from the last two national tournaments?

This weight class is going to be fun at the BTT and Big12

I think it was 7-1 Jax, because Siedel took a last chance desperation throw. However, the match was indicative of 4-2.
Va Tech is going to be tough with Bo and Miller. They might get Joey Blaze next year and who knows what the portal will bring them?

Seidel is probably my favorite wrestler to watch. Just unbelievable forward pressure strength and twitch action in every position. Forrest surpassed Bo as my 2nd favorite wrestler to watch. Just an unbelievable weight class with a class of wrestlers that are going to be amazing to watch their growth.

I’ve been involved with wrestling for over 60 years and I have never seen anything like the talent these freshman bring to a single weight class in one year.

Jesus, I have to root for Byrd now? Let's hope Drake pulls some senior magic.

May be the best bracket since the legendary 08 149. Maybe..
Ayala, Fugit, Van Dee and Knox are returning AA’s from last year at 133. They will probably not be seeded any better than 8th at the weight this year.

Next year three of the four return, along with: Blaze, Davino, Forrest, Frost, Larkin and Siedel. I wonder how many of them move up to 141?
