15-0 Dayton run plus numerous turnovers. How can you play this sloppy in the Tourney?

We have lots of offensive skill but no real identity.

Probably too late in the year to figure it out now, but they can still gain a lot of momentum going into next season where we'll likely start in the top 10 if Hield returns.

Sooners can't buy a basket and Dayton can't miss.

Better weather this storm or this one will get away from us. Down 6 with 14 left.

Down six and Dayton has all the momentum. There's a lid on our basket so it's not looking good right now.

I don't think that we can blame home cookin' or the fact that they are playing in front of their crowd.

If you can not make a lay up, then you do not deserve to win a basketball game.

I'm just glad that I did not invest much time in this overrated team this year.

Is there a worse team in D1 than OU making a simple shot under the bucket? This is the most undisciplined team in the tournament. This has nothing to do with home team advantage and everything to do with poor play.

Our crowed couldn't care less unless they're losing. No threeds until tourney tells the story.

There's like 10 schools in the country that care much about college basketball until the tournament. This isn't just an OU thing. In other news, looks like OU may pull this one out.

Yeah sweet 16 how do you feel about that? Or would you rather not support OU

Good comeback. Really thought the SOONERS we're going to lose to Dayton the way they played the first 10 minutes of the second half. Now on to the Sweet 16 for a date with MSU. Really expect the SOONERS to play better.

That block by Buddy Hield won this game for OU and is the biggest play for OU this season. Plays like that are exactly why he's the Big 12 Player of the Year. The guy has been doing it all season! Great win for Lon and the players. A Sweet 16 has never been sweeter!

Buddy needed to make that block since he had made the turnover.

That was a gut check game. I wondered if they would ever miss from three. You can't shoot over 60% for the game. Can you? But, this time, they had the drought. A two-point lead with Jordan is pretty safe. We can win on the road against while not playing all that well, even if the other team hasn't lost at home all year. We can do better, and I think we'll have a chance to show it against the Spartans.. Remember Najera!!

You are one sarcastic individual that needs to stop looking at my posts. You need a time out really bad.

Hmmm.

It was their 3 pt shotting that kept them in the game. These boys have played in tougher road game crowds tha this.

I'd say the crowd was the emotion that kept Dayton going. It was their 6th game in 10 days. The Flyers played their guts out but ran out of gas.

We need to play better or the Spartans will end our season. As usual, they are playing their best basketball at the end of the season.

Finally got to watch the game. Darn shift work.

Just win baby! We win comfortably if we cut down the turnovers. We blow them out if we make layups.

I was most impressed by our composure when we went into that shooting drought. We battled back and found a way to win. Gritty. Nice job guys!

Inside baskets will not be as easy to come by inside against Sparty. Probably won't have the rebound advantage either. Cut down the turnovers and hit our jumpers and we will win. Dribble-driving and kicking out for open looks will be key. All three of our starting guards can do that.

Would love to see Buddy find his outside shot. If it's not there, drive and finish or find the open man.
