Am I the only one really worried about our offensive line? Sure we have 2 veterans but other than that we are really raw. Wasn't Alvarez like a 2 star guy? Brown is a redshirt freshman? Are these guys just starting because we have nothing else or are they future studs?

Yank, I'm your huckleberry. Our OL wasn't impressive at all last week against Akron. UT has great LBs and a good DL yet they are going to be without one DT for the OU game. I think we have to control the LOS in order to be successful offensively. That's a tall order for the reasons your mentioned. I am banking on the young guys playing to their potential but my biggest concern is at center actually. I also think Riley will have Baker getting rid of the ball quickly to offset the UT rush. Hopefully enough that the passing game benefits the run offense. We need Perine and Mixon to rush for at least 150 yards between them and add another 50 or so receiving out the back field to keep the chains moving. Must have success on 3rd down. I think the OL is going to be the storyline.

The OL is no doubt a weak link in the offense this year. We heard it pretty consistently during fall camp with the practice reports, and it showed against Akron. But it's early in the season and they can get better week to week. Let's hope they play well enough tomorrow to get out of Tennessee with a win. Then they have Tulsa and WVU in Norman(not sure how stout the WVU defense is) to improve before going to Dallas for the RRR. But I think Riley can scheme a bit around the line being a weak link with like Oklabama said some quick throws and such to get enough offense going to win games till the OL improves. Lots of time before having to deal with the big dogs in TCU and Baylor at the end of the season.
