In watching the last TCU series of the game, he was huge defensively. On 1st and 15, he hit Hill forcing the intentional grounding penalty and loss of down making it 2nd and 25. On the next snap, he rushed from the outside forcing Hill to throw quickly for a nominal gain completion. Then, on 3rd and 14, he sacked Hill for a 2 yard loss. On 4th and 16, he drew a double team as Hill threw an incompleted pass and gave the ball back on downs to OU.
