Thread on here earlier in the week about Les Miles' job. Looks like LSU has just quit for the year. Verne and Danielson were even talking about it. Makes you wonder what may happen at the end of the year. I know nothing about their AD.

LSU is a very young team that's hit the wall much like UK did last year. They mentioned LSU has more NFL guys, something like 40, and many of them left early. Still, they don't like to lose and I wouldn't be surprised if they dump Miles. LSU has, and has had, QB problems for the last couple of years and that just adds to their situation.

As to LSU's AD his name is Alleva and he's a Dukie I think.

That's a mess down there. They'd have to pay him 15 million and his assistants another 3 million. 18 million just to get him out of there. What a mess. Amazing how fast the worm turns. Just last week I watched him being interviewed in his home during breakfast before the Alabama game with his daughter and son sitting there with him.

Take all of this with a grain of salt but I think Fournette said he wasn't even rushing for a hundred yards a game until they put his younger brother in as QB. And that could take a while, think he is still in high school. He also said he might not even do it then if the OL doesn't start blocking.

He said fooey on the Heisman, who needs it,, and he will still make a lot of money in the pros no matter how bad he looks, surely you don't think any of these college players are playing because they enjoy the game and are looking good playing it, do you?

Ole Miss defense is good, but a question for you football gurus. Is it the D (speed), or is it where the LSU QB is a tad slow on his passes and/or where he stares down his receiver? These LSU receivers are getting killed.
