They looked great in a loss to Auburn yesterday. Auburn probably played their best game and was just unreal. Ole Miss may have beaten any team not named Auburn yesterday.
If history proves correct this will be a game where we all expect to lose and some bozos will be predicting a 20pt loss and we will somehow win.
Yeah, actually could go either way at this point. 4-4 record looking like 9-9 with what is going on. No reason to think otherwise.
I’d say we lose by 10, our effort and toughness will be tested again. Maybe we get lucky and they miss open 3s and pull it out like at tenn.

Dia is a Vandy transfer. Decent 5, he shoots a set shot three that is sometimes on. Pedulla, point guard is Va Tech transfer. He's solid, can shoot the three, is a decent ball handler and defender. Wish Butler would play to neutralize this guy.
Murrell and Brakefield are 5th year players. Murrell is an athletic, good player. He's been hampered by injuries this year, has missed a few games. Brakefield is solid, can do a lot of different things but sometimes makes the dumbest turnovers and costly mistakes. A dumb goal tend helped them lose to A&M.
They are physical and Beard has them playing defense as you'd expect. If they shoot decently they are a tough out.

Good physical defense. They will put major pressure on our ball handlers. If we make those lazy passes they will make us pay. Not great rebounders. Make some mental mistakes.

I don't think so. The make money on half court defense. They get steals. They have some athletic front court dudes. The primary ball handler, Pedulla is not super athletic.
Bad news when they drop to the top of the receiving votes then tomorrow!History says we should win. We are 6-1 against ranked teams.
Guards are small. Pedulla is a hard-nosed 6-1 and Jalen Murray (remember him from St. Peter's) is a super quick 5-11. Pedulla had 29 versus Auburn and many of those points were scored in the lane. Travis Perry should watch a bunch of Pedulla video in the offseason because he can really play. 3rd team all-ACC last season at VT.

Based on what I saw from Ole Miss yesterday we probably lose by 10+. Good team that will be even more hungry after losing to Auburn.
Take care of the ball. Our turnovers have been double-digit in the 3 games Butler has been out: 17, 13, and 14.
Not going to win this one. Rebels by 12. He's going to sit Butler, but he should sit Carr as well
Yeah we are waving the white flag because our guard has been hurt. Most teams will start to smell blood from our jersey soon and start to feast on fear. I'm glad we beat the Vols on thier floor but losing last night suked the life out of our team like it did the fan base. The players woke up with they asses sore and read on thier phones how much the fans are pissed and will probably let the wheels fall off. Beating Ole Miss doesn't wash anything out.
I think we will win honestly. Just how the season has gone. I hope we do because we need to win these to offset the home losses. We need Butker and Carr healthy though man. I pray to the lord they get there by the end of the year. I expected Kerr back too but apparently that wasn’t in the cards.
We've list 3 of 4 they've list 4 of 5 all to ranked opponents. Talk about desperation. However we're on the road so I just hope we can do what we usually do and rise to the occasion.
Beard's teams bring the defense. They'll get up into you and make you uncomfortable. It will be a tall task just like the past two games have been. It's hard for us now to bring it being down essentially three players. You need a good facilitator against a team like Ole Miss. We may not see that again this season. Some of you guys need to cut Pope some slack. We're down a few guys right now. All of those dudes had MAJOR hands in our games early in the year. THIS isn't early in the season. We're patching together lineups we never saw until recently. Take the Big Blue Goggles off and have some perspective.
