Summer Olympics are coming up next July in Paris. Do any college kids take "Olympic training years" off? Now making an Olympic team is extremely difficult for a college student with 1) limited weight classes 2) Olympic
type training sites like Nittany Lion club which has experienced wrestling greats training there-like Taylor, Snyder, Dake, and others. These wrestlers have extensive international competition but Snyder did win at a young age while in college.
Another point is that many wrestlers including Carter and Aaron have had an "extra Covid year" so their college careers may already be an extra year long compared to before Covid.Not sure all want to spend 6 years or so in college!
