I wish Grant Hill was throwing the pass for us. No disrespect intended (great pass), but what a difference one stud would make to this team.

Moreno said on the radio after the play was NOT for him. It was for Otega to catch, get a dribble or two and shoot.

We lucked out that that didn't happen.
Not sure I believe that. Oweh was on the sideline and Chandler would’ve had to way overthrow him for that to happen. I’d believed he under threw Jeliy more than that it was supposed to go to Otega.

Moreno said that, but if you watch the replay a couple of times I think Chandler made the decision to throw it in the area of Moreno and and Jelavić because Oweh and Aberdeen were a good ways from where he threw it. Good decision also because if we were lucky enough to catch it in that area, then we had a slight chance to actually make a shot.

I think that’s right. Chandler opted off of Oweh.

He was definitely throwing it highpoint for MM or past

Chandler didn't throw it to Oweh. It looks like he saw Moreno open and let it rip. They didn't have anyone with a body on him. It looks like LSU gambled that we'd only toss it to one of the guards.

I just read that. He probably shouldn't have even said that..lol. Just let everyone believe it was a perfect play call.
... which suggests that Chandler ignored Popes play call. Someone suggested that Chandler "overthrew" to Oweh and Aberdeen both of whom were running down the right sideline while Moreno was at the top of the key. Chandler clearly decided to throw the ball to Moreno and not the other two. Good call on Chandlers part.
