You can only have 85 on scholarship. You can sign 25 per year. That's 100 scholarships. Redshirt half of each class and you've got roughly 115 scholarships every four years that haven't exhausted their eligibility. So you then have to cut 30 players over every 4 years. It makes sense to have one class every four years be less than 20 especially if you like all the players on your team already. Everyone acting like our football program is **** right now is a 17ing retard. Thanks though for identifying yourself as such to the world though.

I've been a pretty big defender of Mullen but this is just inexcusably lazy. You can paint it any way you want but it still sucks.
No way is our football program crap but to miss out on 4 high profile recruits literally in your backyard is ridiculous...if it plays out that way.
Yes but Mullen has been plucking players from Alabama for eight years now. Some of them had Bama offers and I'm pretty sure Bama considers the entire state to be their backyard. It looks to me like Saban is intentionally returning the favor towards Dan.
I can't think of any players from Bama we signed that had a Bama offer . B. Brown and De'Runnya had Auburn offers. Alabama recruits on an elite level nationally. if you think that Saban is trying to ruin a coach that he routinely skull 17s then you are a 17n moron.

I think he's definitely making an effort to recruit the state of Mississippi better. He's lost two years in a row to OM. He knows the "Mississippi schools" are on the rise
Maybe so but he's recruiting Mississippi harder than ever before. Mullen has to counter punch now. We were never going to lockdown every top player to come out of this state every year. Mullen has locked down the highest percentage of them though since arriving even though this year he got stung.
