It wasn't even close. A total rout. Jackson is a beast. Once he learns to be a drop back passer in addition to his athleticism he'll be a scary QB. Plus, you guys have Pass coming in too to compete. You won't be lacking in Quarterbacks the next several years.

And how about that ACC? 3-1 on Rivalry weekend vs the SEC and 7-1 in the past two years.

Thanks Schmidty ...

Yeah - Lamar Jackson has been a revelation. He's only been on campus for about 4 months. Teddy Bridgewater showed up in January of his senior year of HS. So he had a whole lot more time to adjust to the college game (and college life) before his freshman season. It will fun to watch him develop from this point on. The extra bowl practice prep, the spring practice, and then next summer ....

I had your game with Florida on flashback (was watching the Stanford - Notre Dame game -- helluva game that was) ... and it looked like you were in control from the beginning. But that Florida D is pretty tough. I think the Gators will be back soon, so you guys will have your hands full there prolly soon.

Good luck in whatever bowl you get. Will definitely be rooting for you there.

Florida just doesn't have much offense. Their defense is stout. But they wore out as the game went on and Dalvin Cook finished with 183 yards and 2 TDs. Once they get their offense better they'll be a force assuming they don't drop off on Defense.

His play action was awesome. Has to be the best out there. He's in space after 4 steps.

I think he's a lot like Boykin at TCU, who was a receiver when he arrived at Horned Frog land. Jackson getting to play QB in his true freshman year will have him a Heisman candidate in his junior season.
