Been going to UK football games for 25 years. It was the most depressing and lifeless opening game I have ever experienced. As I entered The stadium, the lack of buzz and excitement prior to kickoff was palpable.....and it went down hill from there. Even when we got the big lead, you could hear fans muttering about the big lead against Louisville last year and how we would probably give this one up too. They were correct.
My pork chop sandwich was tough and lukewarm. My wife's burger was tough and cold. There are no flat screen tv's on the second level to watch the game as you are waiting in line for bad food.
The music mix sounded like it was put together by a meth addict on crack. Weird mix of crappy country and hip hop. It was not a good mix and did nothing to inspire the crowd.
Oh.... and the football sucked.
I won't be back until I am given a good reason to do so.
