One of the things I like about this team

Is that, win or lose, you can virtually never fault the effort. Sometimes they play well, sometimes they don’t, but the effort is almost always there.
So far today, it isn’t, and that’s really a shame.

This one is really embarrassing. There were some games we “shouldn’t” have lost earlier, but this was just a really embarrassing effort.

There wasn't much effort last game either (at home against Purdue).
Prior to that, I agree.

Maybe something happened in the clubhouse? I know they got messed up on travel plans, but today was really bad..

I hope I'm wrong about the effort. Next game will tell the story.

Fair enough. I missed the Purdue game and haven’t watched it yet.
