This board is MUCH more active after a loss.

And about half of them are knowledgeable basketball fans.

The other half …. Well everybody has the right to an opinion,

Even if it’s kind of an odd one.

I would say the board is more active after a loss because as Kentucky fans, we expect to win (in spite of our lack of success the last 8 years). So winning is more of a relief than a call for celebration in most cases and losing is unacceptable to us.

I also think we’ve all been on an edge for so long and haven’t had enough success lately to make losing a little easier. The 2013 season sucked but was much easier to accept after winning a title. But for now, we haven’t seen the cats play in a FF in a decade and until we do, every loss is going to kick us down more than a win brings us up.

In other words, our expectations are higher than our results have been and we’re desperate for a deep run in March.
