Man that is more than kids being kids. They are in big time trouble and being in Alabama they won’t get any brakes. Nor should they.
New Mexico State canceled their season because of crap going on in their program. Wonder what the Crimson Tide will do?

Weapon owners should be held criminally liable for all crimes committed with those weapons, whether that weapon was lost, stolen, or (geez) willfully provided, as was the case here.

This is just terrible.
I find no humor in it.

Yup. If you store your firearm in a way where it can be "stolen" (and I put that in quotes because I don't trust most people who claim their guns were "stolen"), then you are not the proverbial "responsible gun owner".

Probably not if the gun was reported stolen prior to it being used in a crime unless it can be shown that it really wasn't stolen. There would be ways to write that law and investigate abuse of giving you r gun to someone and then saying it was stolen.
People need to know where their guns are and who has access to them. Gun safes are pretty reliable. Trigger locks less so.
Sorry this is getting to be Rant Board stuff, I guess.
