What a whirlwind of a spring/summer! It would be April 18th before we got our first guy on the roster.
And folks have been losing their minds this year. This time last year we didn't even have a coach.
I was (and still am) so happy that THAT MAN is no longer the coach at Kentucky. I railed for years for him to

This day was very joyful and I commemorate it with celebration. Cal finally did something right - leaving Kentucky. He stayed 5 years too long. He should have listened to himself when he said it was a ten year job.

It was a crazy time. The search was crazy and the initial reaction to the hire was crazy. It’s a good thing that’s all past and it looks like we made a solid decision.
When Calipari left here, it was like a 5 ton elephant was lifted from our chest. I thought, this is probably what it feels like to be released from prison. The UK basketball program can finally take a good refreshing breath.
Was time to move on from someone who led many many highs after the train wreck of BCG. I thank him for leaving and ridding us of the awful contract Barnhart allowed.
