Not a good start for the conference. Need wins by our conference rivals to have a chance for the playoffs regardless how many OU victories there are this year. A perceived weak conference is a strike against any school without a CCG. An Ohio State win might be the ticket.

Hate to say it, but so far the Big XII is looking like a dumpster fire this season. I really am glad I no longer live around a bunch of Arkansas fans anymore or it would be unbearable the crap you would have to listen to after they beat TCU last night. Nobody will like me saying this, but 2 games into the season, UT is looking like the class of the conference so far.
Houston for sure. I would pick Cincinnati over BYU simply because its location to West Virginia. But doesn't the B12 really need 4 more teams anyway?
Bringing Your Unicorn will always add to a conference. It's like having big gold, whether you really do or not doesn't matter. People want to see the unicorn.

Texas does look like the class after 2 games. Like it or not they do. Oklabama is correct about the big 12 playoff chances. I do think Houston is the best team in Texas. Houston's defensive line is better than any big 12 teams in my opinion.

How OU looks against tOSU at home will give a better overall picture. One game doesn't make a season. Whorn win against ND was better looking than the UTEP win, IMO. The domination of ULM by OU was expected. How do you grade a 41-7 or 59-17 win vs. inferior opponents?
