If you don't want to sign in, you can take advantage of the late loading sign-in page. After going to the site quickly type control A followed by control C once the article loads but before the sign-in page loads. You can then paste the contents into a word document. You will lose all the formatting but should be able to read the article.

I had none of that issue. I just followed a link from Google and read the piece using Chrome browser, but maybe they already had my email address.

Would they like my Social Security number while they are at it?

Favorite line…

Cal says:

"'They're not machines,' he [Cal] said.

No, machines can be unreliable."

Huma is right. Either google the phrase "Kentucky's quest for perfection", or use this link, which is the same one you'll get from google:

Yeah. Teddy Greenstein did a nice job with this piece.

I'm glad to see someone with the Chicago Tribune counterbalance the hatchet job that their guy David Haugh did on the 'Cats a few days ago in his article in which he said that even if U.K. goes 40-0 and wins the national championship its feat wouldn't be as good as Indiana's in 1976. Haugh's piece is a monumental suck-up job to Knight and that '76 I.U. team. What an idiot !

Just your name and birth date. No SSN needed.
