Just finished watching the 13 episodes. Kinda lame but but did like the expansion on some of the inmates. Anyone else watch this?

From here, it is about where some mental patients are created.

Meh.
I do find it interesting but it's really hampered by the fact that the main character has no arc of any consequence compared to the rest of the inmates.

I can't think of anything I would have rather seen less than a sex scene with that unibrowed woman in it.

Too many side stories this season that were unnecessary. Should have just made it straight up about the prisoners vs. the guards and the corruption and that would have played out well. Instead, they brought in other stupid stuff like the white supremacist stuff. Series probably should have ended after season 2.

It's a good show and I like how they tried to incorporate the gang life aspect into it. Unfortunately, it was clear that nobody has any clue how a federal prison is ran. Plus these women are in a low security open bunk satellite camp. I work in one of the 13 Federal Penitentiaries the BOP has and see that stuff every day so that's why it's unrealistic to me. Our camp is nothing at all like our pen. The pen is where the gangs are. The pen is where the fights, stabbings, etc are. In this show, they act as if a camp is some hellacious rough place to be. Hell, we only have 1 officer per shift at our men's camp and they do not even carry OC or have a body alarm on the radio.

No chance Crazy Eyes would have been in Minimum Security Prison after Manslaughter.

Gotta get Uzo that Emmy somehow though...
