Okay, it is still the first half. But it'd be nice to see the lesser Wildcats take another loss. 14-10 at the 8 min. mark.

WOW, Sean Elliott calling the game. For the younger fans of BBN, he was a terrific talent back in the day when he played and was great in the pros.

They are horrific to watch. Worse than a lot of Tubby teams.

I would drop Arizona pretty far, they do not look to be very good at all. Imagine how upset we would be if we handled the zone that poorly.

I love this . As i have said Zona's coach Miller is sooo average and i want him no where near this program once Cal leaves. Look at who they have at guards? Mcconnell is as average as the day is long and freaking York wouldn't even play ahead of Hawkins IMO. You gotta have better guards then that to be a top 10 team . Zona as 2 elite SFs and a very good PF but that is it. Trac is a decent center but nothing more. Zona could of won it last year as they had an elite SG and an Elite player in Gordon but this team is a top 15 team like a UNC or Iowa St , nothing more.

Let me say again any win in conference on the road is a great win and Duke , Zona and WIskys loses show that .

And this won't be the last Zona loss.
Not even close. They are going to be a 2 seed. Your 1s should be UK, Duke UVA and then either Wisconsin or as I vomit in my mouth as I say it...Gonzaga.

Whatever team gets to be their 2 seed would dance naked in the streets and go streaking Frank the Tank style, and the other 1 seed on their side of the bracket (probably Duke somehow) would just have to look at the 2 seed in the Gonzaga bracket as their probable Final Four opponent or 3 or 4 or 5 seed or whatever.

Gonna be tough to keep that 1 seed in the West region from Gonzaga. They're legit and they have a weak schedule.

As of today:
Midwest - UK
East - Virginia
South - Duke
West - Gonzaga

Yeah, that would be the committee. Reward a team that has not beaten anyone any good this year with a 1 seed. You watch, they will screw UK if they do that as well. They will not put the two ACC teams on the same side of the bracket...we will get Duke or Virginia (probably Virginia) while Duke gets Gonzaga as their potential Final Four opponent.

Zona is losing at least 3 more games as they just are nothing special . Be around a 3 seed . No way will they be a 1 and a 2 is unlikely . Just too average as i said i think they are in the realm of teams like UNC , WVU , Arkansas , ie a team who will spend most of the year between 10 and 20 in the rankings.

Yep. Zags riding in the diamond lane to a #1 seed.

What is Gonzaga's best win?

UK has played AT LEAST 5 teams better (UNC, Texas, KU, UL and Providence) than whoever that mystery team is for Gonzaga.

That Gonzaga team would lose quite a bit in the SEC...our athlete's would embarrass them at times.

The thing is, the West is almost always low on quality teams. Wisconsin (or someone else) could still get that last 1 seed, but the committee has already expressed it's fondness for location.

They gave Wichita State a 1 seed last year, but punished them for their weak schedule with a BRUTAL bracket.

True but the west is weak (understatement). If Duke winds up a #2 seed you can almost count on them shipping to the West Region.

Oregon State lost Devon Collier, Eric Moreland, Hallice Cooke, Angus Brandt, + Roberto Nelson after last yr. And still beat Arizona tonight.
Ouch.

Some of our own fans had Duke as 1A and Arizona as 1B. UK doesn't lose to Oregon State and no team is blowing out UK, as Duke was today. No chance. The Cats are an obvious cut above.

No one else in the country wins at A&M shooting 27%, that is for damn sure. That does not excuse the performance, as dreadful as it was, but I am just saying.

Yep and of course we will have UL and IU in ours as well as tasty upset alerts. You know they'd throw IU in there if we are undefeated. Well, to win it all ya gotta be able to beat any and all. We can do that.

Don't forget Texas! They played us tough at Rupp... without a key player. You know the NCAA would want them to get a 2nd shot at the Cats.

If your scenario holds out and Gonzaga is the last 1 seed, Wisconsin might be their 2 seed. Wisconsin was the 2 seed in the west last year, so I can't see why they wouldn't be again this year, given that Gonzaga will have played a 2nd tier schedule and should face the most difficult 2 seed. It would be great if they made Wisconsin the 2, and Arizona the 3.
