We run high school level pass routes, which contributes to why our receivers are always so well covered. I think the receiver coach is the one who should be the first to get fired.

As Bill Walsh used to say, our pass routes were the simplest of simple. And those were routes being run by a highly successful NU operation at the time.

Rhule needs to ask himself this- am I willing to go down with the ship and hurt future employment (he’s only 50) with these coordinators (Foley and Satterfield) ; or do the right thing and hire the right qualified Assistants (see DC who he never worked with before) for a school like Nebraska

It's hard for me to know if that's a freshman QB with new receivers thing, or a coaching thing. But that's why Rhule gets paid the big bucks, to correct these things going forward.
