Kept us from practicing on the rims due to a "concert", home-cooked the refs, had the most clownshoiest of the students sit right on top of our bench, etc., etc. No matter. Huge win!
I'm wondering why the conference allows students standing and screaming inches from the visitors bench. Yet they made NU move the band from near the opposing bench to the other side, when Knight complained.

Yes very encouraging to see the team get the win when the calls weren't going their way. Ohio State was getting away with bumps and hand checks in the second half that the Cats couldn't get away with.

OSU basically got away with hand-to-hand combat in the second half, particularly Lyle.

You're so right! They got away with murder. They held a concert and probably waxed the floors after. What else explains all the feet slipping out from our guys and all the very minor foot slips that normally are traveling but were not called?

That was an ice rink out there. We played well regardless.

Great win the team, Collins, Phillips, Fitzgerald and everyone there. Yes!

The number of times our players slipped on the floor was absurd. Unacceptable for a Big Ten floor to be in that kind of shape. Law and Lindsey both came up limping and they got a wide open late 3 because of it too.

The worst call of the day was the drop-step traveling call on Pardon which even the Announcer said he did not really see. There had been way worse all day. But he calls that? That was home cooking extroidanaire

Between the officiating, the floor condition, and Thad Motta's red face, that game was an embarrassment for the Big Ten.

Shot of the game: Skelky's 3 from the extremely extended elbow. That is not where he makes his 3's from usually. Great shot!

Funny you'd say that, Jules. Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but I actually had that thought myself. Maybe the season they're having is taking its toll on him.

I wasn't being sarcastic. He is looking pretty bad these days.

I am thinking the "concert" had to have been Holiday on Ice...
