Totally agree horrible 2pt conversion decision. Kick the XP you're tied at home. Defense playing pretty well.
Yeah i agree 90% of time but MSU is 3-7 really not doing much on offense. I kind of like the ballsy call just execution and play call was questionable. If MSU was playing for more as far as a bowl or BIG 10 title game I bet he would of kicked extra point. I dont think Buckeyes can beat Michigan next week though. They can clobber inferior teams but anyone with a pulse they seem to struggle. Michigan will be best team they face all year and can see UM winning. Plus Mich is due to beat them.
I'm far from Ohio State fan but I'm all for them beating Michigan State. The better they do the more National recruits they get and more good Ohio Players we get. Michigan state is much more of arrival when it comes to recruiting Ohio for us. Plus dantonio likes to talk s*** about our program and negative recruit. so I'm more than happy to see him lose and their season implode. The two twins that flipped to Michigan state two years ago can enjoy it now. They said they wanted to go to a program to win.
Speaking of that, my cousin plays with Ajon and Danantoni was responsible for all them decommits we had awhile back and almost flipped Ajon to MSU. Yeah we need all the good ohio players,we can get and Ajon is going to be a Stud DB. You are very correct MSU is our main competitor behind OSU in the state of ohio. Plus you can throw Michigan in there now as well.
Oh, I agree it was a gutsy call, but the odds are against you on those 2 point conversions, better to take it to OT. Of course, had it worked he'd be hailed as a hero, lol.
I thought they might try for 2, even before they scored.
The rationale:
* You are giving yourself an immediate chance to win
* You doubt your ability to outslug OSU in OT
* If you don't get the ball back, it means that OSU probably went down and scored, meaning you lost anyway

The squib kick was dumb, as it cost them precious yardage.

I liked the decision to go for 2. At 3-7 might as well be aggressive. It's not as if Dantonio called the play to be thrown into double coverage. The play call was fine. The receiver was open but the MSU QB waited way too long. That play was 100% on the QB not the play call.
