Big moves in the match:
- OkSt puts Sakamoto (All Japanese Champion) out against Ayala at 133. Ayala majors him.
- Brands wrestles in place of Kennedy at 174 for the Hawks and holds Hamiti to a regular decision.
- Hawks send Ferrari out against Plott and Ferrari wins in SV1.

Otherwise the match pretty went as expected. Hawks win 21-16. Without the Ferrari move, they would have lost 19-18.

OSU might win 125, but that would be it against PSU. Hamati is always dangerous.

Ferrari is going to be a handful. They are going to try and get him and Bassett in the lineup together as much as possible and hope to land two more studs. I don't see it happening or them challenging PSU any time soon, but that's what their hope is.

I very much like Caliendo and Buchanon is a stud. Hard to root against those two.

I'm not sure Brands took a full shot his whole match, but he did his Job. Parco did not but then tried to stir up the crowd like he did. SMH

@174, Brands was out most of the year, but will be their starter postseason. They really screwed Kennedy.

@184, Ferrari is better than Arnold and had 1 match left before losing red shirt. Iowa wanted this meet and this decision shows it. Arnold probably doesn't beat Plott either and would hurt his seed at NCAAs.

@141, who knows. They weren't winning the match with anyone so maybe a duck?

Basset and Ferrari will give Iowa multiple time champs. But the way OSU has recruited in 25 and now 26 gives me pause. I think OSU will pass Iowa but its going to be a lot tighter among the top 3 than the last couple of years.

It must have been tough for David to pay Amine to come to OSU and do nothing. Caliendo has upped his game this year but Amine was sleepwalking.

Caliendo is very good. If not for Mitch, he would be a favorite. It’s impressive that Mitch makes him look pedestrian.
