Beginning to believe the Cowpokes may have something going. The seem to be able to outscore opponents without much of a running game. Their second string qb is doing most of the damage running the ball. Going with the Pokes 52 - 48 since game is in Stillwater.
I'm leaning toward the Horned Frogs even though it's being played in The Stool. I'm thinking this one, like many B12 games, comes down to one or two key defensive stops or turnovers. Both offenses will be able to move the ball in the air as they are ranked 2nd and 3rd in passing, but TCU has a much more balanced offense (averaging 224 yards per game rushing), whereas OSU is 10th in the conference in rushing (averaging 134 yards per game). They are ranked 5th and 6th in scoring defense in the conference.
If TCU slows down the OSU running game, but gets theirs on tracker early, that will open up the playbook for Boykin to exploit the OSU D. The game last year in Ft. Worth was a 42-9 whipping by TCU, so this one will be closer, but right now I'm feeling TCU wins by 8.
