I think he was so impressed with our Chicago-style unis that he wants to transfer!
I think more likely Underwood's ridiculous yelling broke him. Why would you want to live with that for an entire season?
Underwood in his post-game was very, very unhappy with the offense. I would be surprised if that unhappiness didn't carry over into practice. Perhaps/likely Clark was getting criticism about his game that he hasn't heard his entire life.
In looking up Clark, I was amazed at how highly ranked Illinois' players are. Four stars on average. Same thing with Ohio State. Illinois looks to have chemistry issues. Not so OSU.

I've lived in all 4 "I states". Chicago prevents Illinois from being worst
